Hello, not sure if this is allowed or posted in the right place so I apologize in advance if that's the case. However I still need help with my A level mathematics. I'd love an answer to the following question with an explanation as to how you got that answer.

The points A(24,6,0), B(30,12,12) and C(18,6,36) are referred to as Cartesian axis, origin O.
(a) Find a vector equation for the line passing through the points A and B. The point P lies on the line passing through A and B.
(b) Show that CP can be expressed as (6+t)i + tj+ (2t-36)k, where t is a parameter.
(c) Given that CP is perpendicular to AB, find the coordinates of P.
(d) Hence, or otherwise, find the area of the triangle ABC, giving your answer to 3 significant figures.

That was the whole question and I'm totally okay with you solving it all on paper with an explanation, and then uploading a photo for me to see.

Been a while but I reckon the answer is 42.

I would say looking up the stuff on the internet (not Torn) would be the best option, even going to the resources at your school. Is this college or High School?

If this is High School, Id like to share my experience. I copied EVERY assignment and test from other people when I was in High School. And it got me by for HS. I never planned on using any of the material and for the most part still do not use it. But then a few years ago I decided to go to college. I literally pooped a brick when I saw the requirements! I regretted everything I did on the HS level. But with my college math professor and the Math Lab, I was able to learn something that I had no knowledge of because, I copied EVERYTHING.

Something just clicked at that time or maybe it was it easier because it was something I actually wanted to do and I saw how it benefited me in life by knowing this stuff, mostly for school but Ive actually used some things on this very game. I had a breakthrough with my mathematics skills and it helped me achieve success for what I needed it for. I dont recommend you copy everything though and try and learn it when it while you are still in your early years, instead of what I did. I know I wish I would have taken it more seriously at those stages, it would have saved me a lot of stressful moments, I even wanted to drop out of college because of it. But with the many resources and my first math professor I was able to overcome that obstacle. I dont recommend you do what I did and copy & paste your life away.

I would try and help but as Im still somewhat bad at math I wont. I wish I could if this was a legit (I want to learn experience). I hope you do find success in this subject that has caused me so many stressful moments, even briefly my time at college. I hope you find your answers and take note of how those answers came to be, I know I wish I did.

i used to be good at this when i was in high school, just saying

I went to college and got a degree in Maths. But it was so long ago we called it just Math.

If you really want to find someone to help you with it online, try Reddit. There are a lot of very active subreddits dedicating to helping with homework/understanding specific subjects, along with general subreddits that cover several topics. Post your question there and you'll get fast responses. A text-based crime game isn't really a great spot to look for help.

I didn't read all of the details but I'd go with 'c'. That is always a good guess when you don't know the answer to a multiple choice question. Good luck!

As far as a real answer is concerned:

a) this is not the right place to ask, and

b) people might be more inclined to help if you were to write down everything you've already tried in order to find the answer, so it doesn't seem like you're just trying to get others to do your work for you

c) I'd start by drawing it.
