Here in alaska people like to be dicks and charge 50$ an eighth, but if your lucky you can for 35.

In Canada since the 80s the price has been $10/gram. The price varies depending on who you are to your seller, the quantity and quality.

Currently, the medical cannabis growers approved by government have lost their minds. $15 per gram, plus the HST of 13%. Ya some judge ruled medical cannabis an OTC (even though you not only need a prescription, but your doctor has to fill out registration forms for your particular supplier who only ships by mail, no pickups).

On the local native reserve about 2 dozen shops have popped up. $50-$70 per quarter oz, with some discounting on volume.

The street price is largely still $10/gram.

Most of the pot, is kush and variants, anything that grows well in doors and delivers volume as opposed to quality genetics.

Typically I can get an ounce for about $240 for fairly good product.

Extracts are ~$55 per gram, hash $15/gram

With the plan going forward for recreational legal sales in Ontario, its by CBO stores operated by the LCBO (government liquor retail outlets). If Doug Ford wins the election he's promised private retail. There will be HST and Excise tax applied.
