well being a buymugger you pretty much cancel yourself out from anybody you buymugg from. even if the person selling could better protect themself, its the choice the buymugger does, i dont think its wierd that buymugging results in blacklisting, its logical.

there is also ofc the chance of getting you named plasterd on the forums as a buymugger / scammer like happend here, so im not sure the reward is worth the penalty you get.

just wanna mention that i dont think buymuggers are scammers, i think buymugging is the fault of the seller being unpreperd , not the attacker. i have been buymugged several times, ive never done it myself, but i still feel i was in controll hence not a scam.

just gonna say one last thing, people that try to keep thier trading, and buymugging like seperate things are being foolish, when you buy mugg somebody, its not that the person dont trust you regarding trading, the issue is, the person dislike you for what you did, that is the reason trying to buymugg and trade at the same time is pretty bad, in the little time ive seen many people trying to do both these things at the same time and everytime somebody calls them out for being a buymugger, no one trades them anymore.

I quite like Dekloren, but the majority of people on my blacklist (apart from war targets) are from his faction. Nothing against them personally, but I'd rather not risk a buymug.

This is a crime game, suck it up buttercup. I still think it's absolutely pathetic ched gives a tool to prevent bazaar purchases, which can be circumvented anyways. It's created this culture of babies that can't stand being mugged when there's half a dozen ways to store cash already.

I think being able to block people from buying is fine, it fits with the game. Like you say, people can get around it. Not being able to buy from a bazaar is way easier to circumvent than mug protection. Funny all the high level babies that appear because they can't buy from a nubs bazaar.

I'm not a mugger I just find this game to be boring because there's no competitive aspect, nerfed mugged, nerfed bounties, no way to impact a player because soft babies like you throw a fit over anything that's not facebook friendly, like being mugged once in a crime game - pathetic!

Not a big fan of buyer-muggers; however in a game that is basically all about crime, it seems a little odd hearing people complain against it.

Leave your island and get involved in parts of the game that are active. Wars are still happening. Maybe awhile before a military campaign is organised to challenge the jfa island, which will liven things up for you there.

The only reason I play this game is for my friends in the community I'm apart of. Without them I would have quit years ago. It's not my job to create competitive content for the game. I used to participate in the committee but ultimately ched does whatever he wants and only uses them for second opinions on changes he's all but surely going to create regardless.

Haha I never threw a fit, just pointing out that whining works both ways here. I use the blacklist because its there. I have always been anti-mugging restrictions, but I'm not going to not take advantage of something because people cry about it.
