Does anyone understand how the User Activity is measured? I tried looking through the forums, but did not find any satisfying answers. Every once in a while I have a sudden spike in my activity charts while I'm not actually changing the way I am using Torn..

Does anyone understand how the User Activity is measured? I tried looking through the forums, but did not find any satisfying answers. Every once in a while I have a sudden spike in my activity charts while I'm not actually changing the way I am using Torn..
Activity is increased at the end of each session, as far as I know. So if your session lasts for say 10 days, that's when it'll update. Out of curiosity, have you been using the Android app and keeping it open?
My understanding of user activity, is everything that you do when you click, is logged. When you zap chat messages, etc. It seems to be the accumulation and representation of what you do. My activity has increased on Torn the past little while, simply because it's slow for me at work here, and so I hop on more regularly.
Plus I keep the app open on my phone, not sure if that would contribute in some fashion.
I could be completely wrong, correct me if I am.
It's your time logged into Torn measured in seconds.
I was wondering about this as well. I work from home and certainly feel like i spend a lot of time on torn as aside from when i'm sleeping I dont miss much but some people trump me in activity by far i'm not even sure what else you would do to spend so much time especially if you travel (which is the only thing really slowing me down)
I guess clicks would make sense but even then im not sure why it would be necessary to click so much more than me *shrug*
I feel like my user activity is shit for the amount of time I spend trolling the forums, so it's gotta be related to clicks as well as actual time spent logged in
I've seen comparisons between my user activity and others, and their rise over run is WAY higher than mine, even though I spend a good amount of time actively online, reading in the forums while I'm traveling
Your 'Time played' personal stat is the same stat as your user activity. Convert that into seconds and you'll see it's the same (Or at least, close to the same. Sometimes the stat and the graph don't update at the same rate)
So how long would I take to reach 1000 if I have 997 in activity?
