i am pretty sure that in a previous bug report it was stated that certain items (like the Mr/Mrs Torn crown) would replace items like helmets. if you unequip your crown/tiara the old head gear shows, right?
I don't own a crown / tiara. I have absolutely nothing equipped on my head / face when this ridiculously looking thing appears.

I'm afraid I'm not sure I know what you mean here .. Do you have a screenshot?
Also please make sure you test with any addons disabled.

Have you ever equipped one of the 'Crown' items before? It could be a caching issue.
I don't believe I ever owned a crown.
I have won a competition before but never had a " crown " item.
Perhaps it is an incorrectly phrased issue? I have a crown but it is lacking in my inventory ?[:confused:]
I think you deserve a crown just for having this unfortunate issue.. Ya know as an apology =D

I see it! (When you remove your armour).
That is weird, I think Pavel may need to check. Crown appearing when there's no crown equipped nor owned.
