The owner of my current faction, yomama123's account is currently in federal jail awaiting deletion. No other co leaders or leaders were appointed previously, so we are unable to manage the faction due to the absence of a leader. I was wondering if there was a way to give leadership of the faction to someone in the faction so that we can continue managing it. Thank you in advance.

After ~30 days of inactivity, the leadership would transfer to the Co-Leader, or failing that, the longest standing active member. I'm not sure if an Admin could do it for you, but since it's all automatic, I don't think they would. Although, I don't know if that also applies to people who are in federal jail that still log in...
While not really a solution to your problem, my suggestion to you would simply be to take your friends and find a new faction. There are a lot of other factions which are larger and offer better bonuses than your current faction which would have almost nothing at only 5000 respect. You might have a better time with a larger group of people.
