I think it would be worth looking into that if you are attacking someone and they are married that they can be kidnapped and held for ransom.
I just think it would be an interesting addition.
And what happens to the kidnapped player that totally doesn't screw with every other game mechanic and leading it open to abuse? []
There's not much of a suggestion here. How would be it done? What's the purpose of it? What would it do for you? Why would you do it? What happens to the person kidnapped?
Without any actual ideas other than "kidnap might be interesting" this idea wouldn't be considered by developers even if it did reach 100 votes.
I can see where Otaku-15 is coming from though. It would be interesting. If a person is mugged or hospitalized, it would be a nice addition to initiate a kidnapping of the person's significant other. It would allow for the kidnapper to gain money that could be used for a faction or to buy things that they needed. Also, if you were attacked but they were a higher level, you could initiate a kidnapping of their spouse as revenge. What happens to the person kidnapped makes no difference. They could be allowed to help the negotiation or the developers could just make it to where a kidnapped person is "inactive" for a period of time, as in not being allowed to fight or go to the gym, but can talk with their spouse to get them to pay randsome. This feature could be added just like the mugging, leaving and hospitalization choices they have but right after or you could initiate it against someone who attacked you previously.
I personally think it is a cool idea and one that could possibly inhance the game. Just my opinion though.
This idea lacks any meat to it...will kidnap and force feed loads upon loads of details.
Im not sure what you mean, since your post makes little to no sense... If you could say it to where I could understand, then maybe I could help you understand.
I was directing that toward OP. If it was to you, I would have quoted your post (you click the button next to the report button).
