I have some userscripts that some of you might find useful at :
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools

You can read how to use them here:
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools/wiki

FightClub (generic Friends/Black lists Attack button, RApest friendly) :
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools/blob/master/fightclub.torn.user.js

RApest (FairFight x3 & Mugs in Friends/Black lists with Attack button & "add to list" after mugging):
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools/blob/master/rapest.torn.user.js

DarkTheme (Doctorn & TornStats friendly):
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools/blob/master/darktheme.torn.user.js

DarkTheme on Stylish (same CSS as above):
https://userstyles.org/styles/161398/darktheme-for-torn

Generic Torn City Object (in testing atm):
https://github.com/paulwratt/torn-city-pwtools/blob/master/tc.torn.js.md

Cheers

The idea behind DarkTheme was to give something usable to Nobody and show Chedburn how easy it was to change. One bg image at 77% lightness reduction, and (originally) 10 lines of CSS over-rides. It has grown a bit due to fixups, but tweaks (especially text color) are avoided as much as possible. And most of the fixups are rows and mouseovers for rows. Some things wont change atm, like most silverbars and dropdowns being background images, not white gradients (which I just added).

On average tho, Torns default color set lends itself well to a dark theme, more than you might think. If Chedburn had placed one person on a Theme option when he originally reply "its too much work, we have higher priorty dev stuff" 2 years ago, it would be done by now and more than "DarkTheme" would be an option.

So now the idea is to provide the least changes possible, needed to provide a DarkTheme, so that Chedburn can take those changes and introduce an option in settings that would allow for injection of CSS over-rides at the top of the page, until the time when Chedburn decides to place someone on a "full-version" theming option.

Mentions: Theme/color *Staff has replied!*

see the file: tc.torn.js.md

(when finished) it will create a object at the "document" level called "tc" containing short name versions of all user data in page (without need for API key) and optionally "tornCity" long name version of the same thing.

the idea is to be able to have a generic "tc" object available to any script as an include or be able to use code as base for ur own script.

Corrected text in OP, added inline screenshot

released v3+ of the DarkTheme, does not show light colors first, the userscript will now also work with any CSS injectors, including standalone on older browsers  - should be available for Stylish in a day or too, the CSS file is also on GitHub
paulwratt [2027970]

You can now install DarkTheme with Stylish (for browsers and Android). All DarkTheme's use the same CSS code base. If you install the Userscript from Stylish, I recommend you replace it with the one on GitHub (which does have the same installer code) as it will always be up to date. The CSS used on Stylish is also kept on Github, it contains the correct version at the top of CSS, and corresponds to the version in the GitHub commit tag

The style of DarkTheme is not 100%, if you have fixes, either post here or make a fork on GitHub, edit and make pull requests.

As I mentioned in second post, I have tried NOT to touch any text colors, but it was impossible (crimes, preferences). Some other text may be unreadable in certain lighting conditions, or on certain devices. Again, post here or on GitHub if you have issues.

Note that GitHub has an Issue Tracker and "fix integration" (Pull Requests from a Fork) which are both trace-able

Cheers

Paul

EDIT: stylish url change

thx

for everyone else who doesn't know yet, the base text color has been tweaked (could not be avoided) the result being the whole of Torn is a lot more readable with the DarkTheme (v3.08)

The dark theme is all I can get working, not sure if I'm doing something wrong with the other two ... Dark theme is great though, I really like this .. The travel screen is super dark, but it's not exactly a bad thing - kinda like flying in a storm lol ..

I found on line 243 when I changed the hex code from #222222 to #444444 that got much better

(should add, that same line is for forum post text as well - and likely other places)
