Awareness

Hi all.. 



Have a bit of an issue with the game to be honest. I have used loads of merits on awareness, active daily and always searching the city but finding items of very little value and only finding them very rarely.



Is there any way to boost awareness even more, things I could do to help? 



I don't find it very fair that I've got full awareness on merits yet I'm finding items like cannabis etc.

Awareness increases the frequency of items spawns, but not the rarity. You can increase awareness more with merits, some job specials, some education courses, and the Finders Keepers book, but it still always comes down to random chance. If you ask me, you wasted your merits putting them on awareness.
