How exactly do you bake a fruitcake

You can't actually bake one, you need to buy one from the item market :)

• Preheat oven to 300°. Combine fruit and nuts. In another bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour over fruit and nuts; stir to coat.
• Transfer to a greased and floured 10-in. tube pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 2 hours. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Wrap tightly and store in a cool place. Bring to room temperature before serving; slice with a serrated knife.

In all seriousness though, you can't bake one. You have to buy it. You're better off not accepting the mission until you have beaucoup bucks.

As above, that mission text is pretty misleading and should be changed. You used to get them on Christmas and in the dump, but the only reliable way to get one for when you need it in a mission is by buying one on the item market. They're not very costly to most but for a brand new player unable to travel it can be pretty steep. If you still need one send me a message.
