Under the new system it shows that another gym is available to me but I am unable to click it and buy the membership.

can you provide any screenshots of the gym being available and you unable to click it?
I could but then my stats would be available for everyone to see : Would be easier if we could upload screen shots .
you can easily edit your stats out.
