Going back and forth through pages (mainly my items page) while getting the DB error caused my merits to keep jumping up anywhere between 1 to a few merits at a time till I racked up 31 of them.

This happens when you view the awards page, looks like its fixed.
Yeah, that happened to me too.
They just kept going up, seemingly with every page refresh. I was up to 20 something at one point.
