Can anyone explain what the above means from the recent patch?
Not sure what the acronym is, but it basically means any persistent burning damage effect cannot kill an opponent, the best it can do is reduce them to 1hp so that you have to actually finish someone off naturally.

It means DOT damage won't win the fight, active dps will be needed to win the fight. Though, Dot damage does seem to be a significant boost to over all dps... basically it stops a day 0 player beating some level 100.
