16% mod on a weapon with 77.36 acc takes the weapon up to 83.21. By my maths thats not correct. It should be 89.37.

Maybe im having a moment but what am i missing? How does it work.

The figure displayed increases in a non linear way, it's just a representation to compare to other weapons. Your actual accuracy will have increased by 16%

Mhm :D

OP, accuracy figures are quite.....unintuitive to put it kindly. Guide coming soon :0

Harley, does this mean that an 83.21 base accuracy weapon is 16% more accurate than a 77.36 base accuracy weapon?

Aurel once confirmed that accuracy numbers are used to compare / represent weapons within each category to each other, so I'd assume yes, otherwise that wouldn't be a very good representation?

Yeah I know he did, just wondering if you knew/thought anything more than I did.

It's a very weird system.

The numbers physically change when u add the mod. So if they are not an actual representation of the weap accuracy then what is the point of having it there to see. Very odd and missleading.

As Harley said, to give a comparison. I agree it's a stupid formula. The change is a reflection of the mod bonus, but it's weird and convoluted for no reason.
