From an Otherworld, and another Time, Fujiko appeared to bring forth some splendid news to all the people who have been waiting very patiently for it.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have just been informed that something wonderful is happening right now!"
"As you all know, its been some time since we've had any new stories about Candyland, but now a very exciting one has just come to light! It seems that Candyland has some new residents, and everyone there is hearing a lot from them!
This whole thing seems to have started on the basketball court. An old man without his cane decided to watch a game, and very soon the younger players were inviting him to play a half-court game called H.O.R.S.E., and explained that it meant Half Over Rebound, Score Endurance. Basically its a simple half-court game, shots must rebound and then go through the hoop. Players alternate and the player with the lowest score wins at the end of the round. Apparently the game started because a celebrity had come to Candyland, but he didn'tthink there was any need to pay protection.
Poor Bill Cosby didn't know until the end of the game that the "winner" with the lowest score got to be the horse. They offered him 2 out of 3, and he foolishly accepted. As a two-time winner, he asked what he had to do. It was nothing much, something very simple. They just wanted to hear the voices of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. Bill foolishly honoured their wishes, and as soon as he did, those fictional children began new and busy lives in Candyland!
Listen closely in your bunk at night, quiet as a mouse, and you can hear the new adventures of Albert and the gang in Candyland, stories that cannot be heard anywhere else, stories that will never leave this magical place! Bill Cosby landed a permanant role as Mr. Ed, the talking horse, and everyone in Candyland was happy because they could hear Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids every night, with no commercials or interruptions!"
*Fujiko seemed almost disappointed, because this story seemed to be mising something that the other stoies all had. Still, it was a story worth telling about fame and the entertainment industry, despite that this time nobody turned into a skull.*
