Thanks guys, you´re right, just a "number issue", everything is fine....random variability is the answer...

Adjustable rear control arms is a top upgrade.

It's not possible for it to make your car slower.

I expect you're seeing a sample size issue that's within the normal lap variances.

Would be interested to know how many laps you're running now vs what you're comparing to from before etc.

Yeah - a 9 second variation in docks (a long race) doesn't seem out of the norm to me at all.  To confirm this, I looked at my last 10 docks races.  For these 10, my best lap times ranged from 163 seconds to 176 seconds, for a range of 13 seconds between best and worst (again - for best lap times).  The average of these best lap times was around 169 seconds, meaning a swing of 13 seconds (between best and worst) represents roughly 8% of the average best lap time.  In short - for docks especially, a swing of 9 seconds doesn't seem out of the norm in any way.

I did the same with vector, a much shorter track, and saw roughly the same swings, percentage-wise.  My best lap times over the past 10 races ranged from 61 to 66 seconds for an average of 63 seconds.  This swing of 5 seconds (between best and worst) represents about 8% of the average best lap time - so pretty consistent with the docks data.

In short - there's high variability in racing.  And unless you're seeing that result over lots and lots of races, I'd just chock it up to random variability.
