now, my faction and I, as well as another person, have been talking about the faction money system. it's wonderful that we have a "current balance" bar! but, people can still take all the money a faction has if given permission, and to give money back to a member, it'll take money from the leaders stored. we decided it'd be awesome if we could possibly get personal accounts. so people could store and withdraw from their own money and not others, but the leader, if needed, could use the money still use the money to buy things the faction needs (ex. meds). we think it might be something simple to add maybe, however it might not. i'd help code it myself and submit it, but i'm still taking courses irl for coding and learning. but if you agree, people of torn, do try to keep this bumped up til someone important sees it?

I believe the faction bank is only meant to be one single account, the tracking of a balance is just a tool. I don't think the developers want the faction bank to be the most safe and secure way to store money. It would make property and company vaults less useful. Security will not really make the game more fun over all IMO.
Two things.
1) There's a suggestion forum for a reason.
2) You could just create a forum post in your faction forum and record money deposited and withdrawn there.
And how do you propose it works when the leader withdraws a portion of the ballance from the multiple, unequal ballance accounts?
As helpful as that might be to a player. I think the game itself would suffer. It would make your money almost too easy to protect This is a game largely revolving around crime / mugging etc afterall. It would also ruin the vault aspect of the game. What would be the point in buying one? I for one, enjoy the fact that these things are currently out of reach. It's a goal for me (and most other new players I expect) to save for a private island and eventually a vault to keep our money safe. Also the banking system of the Cayman islands will become unnecessary. It's a no from me for these reasons I'm afraid.
I say this a good idea but its defeats the purpose im having a faction vault. I understand it would be easier for other to access thete money faster sbd more efficient. It moght even be better than a PI or anyother place. I honestly think it should stay hiw it is even though i would line to pull out my money anytime that said people can find ways around your code like little glitches that can be found. It might mess uo the factions and as others have said this game is already based around crime who's to say someone won't just destroy there own faction from within if a glitch in the code is found? For now i wish for it to stay the same.
No update needed. When you give money to the faction it is called a donation and not a deposit for a reason. The faction is NOT meant to be used as a bank, all though most people use it as a bank. Still, that’s not it’s intended purpose.
