I'm sure this has been answered already and I just haven't found the thread.
What are the main differences between being a subscriber and a donator?
I currently am a subscriber and have bought a few donator packs, is one necessarily better than the other?
Thanks in advance!

When you donate you get the DP which can be sold for TC currency while being a sub will give you the perks of donation such at +50E and quicker energy regen, I believe you also get points which can be sold.
P.S you can still donate and get the DP's even if you're a sub.
Subscribers get additional prize drops each month, which can include really useful stuff like books or moderate-value items like grenade packs. According to the donator page, they also get holiday gifts. Subscribers are also automatically entered into a daily points lottery. Other than that, using donator packs does the same thing. If you're using real money, subscribing is a better deal than buying a DP, it's cheaper and the reward is better, and you can just cancel it after the first charge.
its true that you get gifts for some holidays. for april fools i got stink bombs and toilet paper. But for the monthly gifts you can not cancle your sub. Since the gifts are awarded at the time of payment. So when you sub renews for the next month you will get 2 random gifts. Ive gotten things from A horse head or energy drinks, up to a cesium on my doortstep from being a sub. If you plan on sticking around in Torn i highly recomment subscribing to me a donator. Its very worth it in the long run. And fairly affordable if you look at time spent in torn every month for less than a burger
Being a subscriber enrolls you into the daily draw for points, along with the special items every month having the possibility to be a book which are extremely overpowered (you would usually get these for mission points).
If you are paying real money for donator status, you are better off becoming a subscriber
