A few times now I see scrooge drop below 50 joined players after he is down to under 1m life and no one can rejoin or join the fight. Kind of annoying since i see the number of people in the fight at 20-27 so I go ahead and finish my hits to try and rejoin only to get "Maximum amount of players reached". Please fix

Looks like it's simply because live update it too slow. Not really bug, but an issue, that will be better to remove. We are coonstantly working to improve the speed and quality of group attacks, first update related to log (that will force logs to show all participants using all related fights links) will come in near month I hope. After that we will work on live updates improving. Thanks for pointing this.
I wanted to bump this after getting bumped from the group attack:

This is internet infuriating.... nobody joined the group attack in the beginning because everyone wants to wait until his life is down to a few 10s of million to try to get in the final hit. All of the people who put in the "work" at the beginning of the attack can't get back in to the fight.
Might I recommend that only people who have previously joined the group attack are reserved a spot even above the 50 player limit. This would incentivize people to join the attack earlier as it will guarantee them a slot later when it comes down to the end.
Otherwise everyone is highly motivated to "wait it out" until the end of the attack. From watching the number of people in the attack, it was around 8-10 people until about 25% complete, then everyone joined until it was filled up and noone could join.
Agreed, this would bring more incentive to join earlier.
Currently, the system hugely disincentives people from joining at early stage.
This would create the opposite issue, aka 'be there the split second he comes out or you'r ****ed', which quiet frankly requires zero skill to be achieved, only luck.
The current system requires a degree of skill:
-You need to evaluate how many people are in the attack comparing the different time of day he's out and overall server activity.
-You need to time your energy to total damage output. I know I deal 80-120k damage with a single 25e attack; hence why I join early to get the ball rolling and wait out once the fight is nearing the end.
-You need to be careful when you join and when you exit the fight compared to your evaluation of when he will die and the timing of his heal, all compared to the timeout timer of the big chunk of the attackers and your own.
-You need to be lucky in doing the last hit.
All the above is aimed to increase your chances in putting yourself in the position of doing the final hit and looting.
The current system is way more complex than 'enter and wait to snipe' and doing the way it was suggested above would make this fight incredibly dull and uninteresting.
I guess I was thinking of this without the 50 man limit. But I guess one needs that.
At this point, the spoils goes towards:
1. Luck at joining the fight at the right moment... after the life has been brought down low enough but before the fight fills up, waiting for all the schleps to use their E to bring down Scrooge, and
2. Luck at landing the last hit
That incentivizes people who have learned to delay their hits to game the system to land the last attack, rather than someone who puts in the energy to drain Scrooge's life. Who deserves the spoils - someone who has spent some amount of E to reduce Scrooge's life, or someone who has learned to 'time it right'?
I think anyone who has participated in the attack to reduce Scrooge's life deserves a slot to 'land the last hit'.
Regarding this actual 'bug' - the attack screen listed 35 people in the attack when I timed out / stalemated, but was unable to re-join the attack.
it'd be cool if there was random drops for players that participated in the fight, like 1x for looter, 1x for most hits, 1x for most total damage, 1x for most single damage, and 1x for most received damage. Maybe increase his hospital stay and no double pay if someone gets most hits/most damage. throw in a 72 hour cooldown if you got one of the achievement loot of 3-5 days so people cant farm it.
Of course if you're on cooldown for a most hits win, you can still grab another item if you manage to land the final blow. Or hell since this game saves every hit from every attack maybe reward people for these achievements for the totality of the event? So one big pay out after scrooge rests till next year
Case in point... Scrooge has been sitting untouched for hours, now that everyone has learned there is nothing for them to start a fight, nobody cares to start a Scrooge attack.
