So, I've been advancing really quickly lately and am already class A. I reckon it's as important to have a high driving skill as a good car.
I have a few question regarding that, since there has been an update a while ago, which changed some things.
- Do custom races still increase your driving skill?
- Do longer races increase your driving skill faster?
- What is the max Driving Skill OR what is your own skill level?

Congrats on getting to Class A. Hopefully you'll continue to enjoy racing. In answer to your questions:
- Yes, custom races increase your driving skill.
- Longer races don't necessarily increase DS faster - but they are more efficient because you'll be gaining DS for potentially hours, as opposed to multiple shorter races with downtime in between. For this reason, many people join 100-lap races overnight to gain more DS.
- It's unknown, but so far there's no reason to believe that there is a maximum DS. However, the rate that DS increases gets reduced with higher DS. This means that as you progress, it'll take longer and longer to gain DS.
Yes custom races are good for driving skill. General consensus is 100 lap docks is the best one.
Yes longer races appear to increase skill faster. No one has cracked the DS formula yet so this is another generalization.
I'm at 40. I know at least one racer was in the mid 60's as of the last URT in summer 2018. I don't know if it maxes at 100 like hunting skill or if there is a max.
