How far can someone harass me until I am able to report?
Someone kept messaging me and sending me mail threatening me and saying I need to give them 3.3b because I wont that in the lottery. I did NOT win that in the lottery. He continually sent messages when I asked him to stop because I don't have that type of money and I don't have a way to get it. He has since blocked me but continually sent me messages and called me a variety of names.
He says all of this is allowed on torn and I need to shut up. How far is too far?
The way we define harassment in Torn is when a player brings real life into the game - Threats on your person rather than your character for example or bringing real-life aspects themselves into the game.
Attacking someone or threatening to attack/extort someone for Torn money using Torn mechanics is not against the rules.
If however they're saying that they'll find where you live IRL unless you give them X/Y or insult you regarding real life matters "I hope your kids die" (for an example on the more extreme end) then we would step in.
I have no issue with people reporting anything that they might consider harassment as such, we'll review it and deal with it accordingly. If it's just involving attacks or threats of attacks (within Torn) all I can suggest presently is to add to ignore list/block list and I would not doubt they'd quickly move on.
Clearly you are dealing with someone who has suffered a significant brain injury, as your net worth has never been higher than $275M. If I were you, I would agree to pay, but only in plushies, and only one per day. That should provide him a lot of comfort.

I would laugh and ignore him. And I am not talking about blacklisting him, just don't put him into a worthy position.
If he wants to waste his energy trying to mug you, then go ahead. If you are in a faction, you probally have access to more than enough Morphine and the only time he should be able to mug you is when you are not activly playing and traveling.
So don't revive your self until you want to do something (watch your medical cooldown timer!) and let him waste his energy mugging just 10-50k$ and mug protecting you half of the day. Just make sure not to walk around with too much money, so it's not worth attacking you.
