I placed a bet on yesterday's Bayern v Hertha game, for Bayern to win. The end result was 3-2 (Bayern - Hertha), but I got an event saying I lost.. See screenshot of results:
So does that mean that when betting on bookies, OT doesn't count? Surely that's not right, as I was betting on the final result, no matter the circumstances.
Given the above - additional minutes shouldn't count either?
If there is a draw option in a game where there has to be a winner, that means you're betting on regulation time. That much should be obvious - this is consistent across all bookies.
Some bookie games have a money line option you can bet on. That I included overtime as well but when you bet on just match odds that means just regulation in most cases.
Thats not true. Bookmaker.eu rules clearly state that overtime periods are factored into totals, money line, and spread betting. (Rule #30 General Betting) Winners can be determined at the end of regulation but overtime periods most certainly affect win/losses.
I just lost 100k on last night's NY/BOS NHL game because they went to a shootout after OT. After sitting for 3 hours and watching the ranger pick up a W its a really shitty feeling to have that counted as a draw according to Torn Bookie.
Can anyone weigh in on this with a definite answer as to how this works?
Same on the rangers game. What bothers me is there is only 2 betting options for "money line" in a sport (along with others) that can end o.t. in a draw so theoretically both parts who bet loose their money?
But you have sports you can bet on in this game, which can indeed end in draw post over time. Which the bookie only have 2 choices for winners. No draw option for "money line" . All I getting at is you have it in a way to confuse people who are use to a sport which can end in a draw after overtime and have a conformation stating your are betting for (blank) to "win". That's what I bet on. For rangers to win. They won.
It would be extremely rare for a bet with just 2 options to end in a draw, I know some NFL games ended in draws in 2018, in that case I assume they'd have to refund.
If you see a Draw option, then it will be regulation time. I can see you're new so you now know and won't make that mistake again. It's always been this way, it's not that different from RL bookies.
