I do suffer with that same issue, although it doesnt completely freeze the game just goes very very slow. My issue is more with the moving of items, the lag makes it practically impossible to pick up an item to move as it doesnt react instantly and just darts you arround the item management screen, if i get access to a laptop i will try and get a video.
