customizing text fields?

Hi, I'm seeing a lot of customization in people profile signatures and faction descriptions and announcement pages

What I'm wondering specifically is how to set the background color for the entire message board.

is there a tutorial thread somewhere with all the codes for customizing these text fields?

It's a source code HTML adjustment. For example: div would provide a dark gray, almost black background.

As far as I know, you can't alter the background color of the forum text fields. Even scripts which change Torn's background colors don't change the text fields of the forum. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any alterations yet.
