As far as i know shows the circulation the total amount of that specific item in the whole of torn. Green Stout should only spawn/appear on St.Patricks Day, but the total amount of Green Stout is steadily increasing by a couple hundred bottles per day. How is that possible? Another case of item duplication?

This is interesting! (At least I thought so) I checked the game's city find logs. These items don't despawn, and it seems that whilst the majority were picked up around St Patrick's day there are still a lot of these … - BeerDrinker [2140025]

How is it possible then? It´s an event Item, the Event is over and the number is still increasing every day.

there could be players who spawned a green stout then picked it up from city on a later date (i got one st. pats day and another the day after). another explanation would be that the circulation number increases slowly rather than all at once to reduce market volatility.
The bottles disappeared from the city after the event was over

Actually sounds worth a bug report unless passing staff see it and can answer.
Wonder how the overall count is reached, if it is a scan once per period then the fact that some like Wiz have picked up after the day could be the explanation.

That is not true to my knowledge, it IS a special event Item, that only spawns at St.Patricks Day.
What Wiz mentioned makes more sense, but it´s hard to imagine that everyday a lot of players finally decided to pick it (hundreds everyday for quite some while) up from the citymap...it´s possible though.

In the last 7 hours 100 of these were picked up by users - so that explains why we are still seeing a gradual introduction of these items, with the most recent one being picked up 4 minutes before I made this post.
For those interested - On active or since inactive users (you would have needed to be active around St Patrick's day for them to spawn in the first place) there are still 12,792 bottles of green stout out there waiting to be picked up!

Ok,i asked bogie about it and he checked item loggs. Wiz was right, people just left it on the streets and finally decide to pick it up.
I can imagine a lot of players dont check their map that often and we can see from what bogie has told us that they havent despawned this year.
Item duplication is a thing for the intrepid bug hunter to look out for, it is one of the nastiest forms of cheating i can think of. But make sure there really is a legit reason why more of them shouldnt be appearing before pointing fingers.
Items can spawn all over the place in game, mostly through job specials. But i have had so many obscure mystery gifts in spin the wheel i cant remember a lot of them.
