Anonimous attack

Hi guys, I have a question. For quite some time now someone has been attacking me without me knowing who it is. How do you do that??? How do you attack someone without them knowing it is you??

Stealth occurs when someone's speed is higher than your dexterity. You can spend merit points in stealth as well, use quiet weapons (i.e. your melee instead of a gun), etc. to try to proc it more reliably against people you're closer in battle stats to. Seems that was wrong, guess I mixed it up.

It might not be the same person, Someone just means that whoever is attacking you is stealthed. Could be the same person everytime, could be just random people who happen to all think you're a good target for whatever reason.

Future reference, any gameplay mechanics related questions should be in Questions and Answers (Q&A) forum. You can search there and find a lot of questions have been asked and answered.  Further, the wiki and tutorials and guides forum are must-reads for every newer player.

But, if someone's Speed/Dex are much higher than yours, and/or they're wearing a Mask, stealthy armor, high-stealth rating weapons(melee, silenced guns, fists) they can do a "Stealth" attack.  There's ways to find out who has stealthed you (Army job or Detective Agency), but the best defense is to raise your stats. 

In your player, attack settings, you can toggle whether to attempt to stealth attack other players.  But, unless you know their stats beforehand, there's no certain way to know if you'll be successful.  Random attacks are just a part of Torn, especially at lower stats.  As you train more, the lowlife's will stop being successful and the high levels rarely bother with targets like us because we're not worth the trouble.

When it says 'Someone' it means the player who attacked you did a stealthed attack, hiding their identity from you. People can do stealth attacks mainly by having a higher dexterity, using a weapon with a high stealth score, or being masked. https://www.torn.com/wiki/Stealthing

You have to use Anonimous mode.

Successfully stealthing is based on your Dexterity.. You have to roll higher than the opponents passive perception score in order to do it successfully.

New feature when you're online you get a pop up demanding you roll perception when you're attacked
