Pre Pay Upkeep

Rather than constantly paying upkeep every day or at the end of the week, have an option to pre pay upkeep costs.

eg. If upkeep costs 365,000 a day, rather than paying this each day of the week, pre pay 10,000,000 so that upkeep comes out of this sum. Ergo, eliminating the need to constantly go into properties to pay upkeep.

Thoughts?

Edit: If renting has stopped or property is sold, any prepaid amount remaining will be sent to your bank where you can withdraw this when you please. Similar to the existing system with bookie winnings.

I agree with the sentiment, however in terms of implementation - if you fire staff do you then get refunded what you had paid up-front?


Also thinking in business sense - wouldn’t you want to have your money in your hands for as long as possible so that you can use it for other things? Eg. Trading, flower running etc.

1. This already replicates automatically daily with the current system. I believe if you fire staff before you are charged that day for upkeep, your required fees will replicate the changes in fired staff.

Nonetheless, my suggestion does not change the existing charging system, rather just the ability to prepay a desired amount, that would be charged anyway on a daily basis.

2. This is true and a fair point for some. However, this is not my playing style. This would be convenient for players that are simply lazy, would prefer to have rent paid in advance etc.
