Weird in what way?
One time I was at the Southern most tip of Mainland Canada. (well I was there plenty of times more than once.) But just whilst one time I was there I found a dead seagull that did not have any marks on it's body though it had no head. The head was not removed, it just did not seem to have one. But there was no parts that looked bitten or cut off.

one time i asked a random man to grab a box of pasta noodles from a top shelf for me and he started to pick me up so i could grab it myself i said what the hell are you doing
Worked the night shift at a hotel where everything imaginable would happen. Had a guest who was calling down complaining every night about the partying next door demanding to be moved. Problem was we were sold out (peak summer season) and it was company paid so the manager wouldn’t do a thing and finally told him to stfu and quit calling. When the guy checked out he made a comment to the effect of “kind of an odd smell in the room too eh?” Winked, smiled and left.
The following day the people that went to check in complained the room smelled of shit.
I went up and checked and it sure did. We had to scramble and put them up at another of the chain properties. Next day? Same thing.
they had the room cleaned twice: no change.
they hired outside cleaners: no change, risked even more of shit. Plumbers came in: agreed it stank but it wasn’t the plumbing.
...after ten days of it they decided to just pull the carpet and drywall and repaint (“maybe something died in the walls? Rat maybe?”) nope.
they Reno’d the room entirely and it still stank like shit within a few hours of the paint drying.
The shit stink mystery was ultimately solved by the fire department. They came in regularly to check The fire panel and alarms and had to decertify the renod roomas compliant.
Thats when they realized that the three alarms in the room (two with flashing lights) and the backup smoke detector (battery in stead of hard wired like the other two) had been “modified.”
at at some point “someone” had popped off the plastic covers and filled the inside with what looked like human shit, which slowly cooked and dried in the detector casings.
no one had noticed when they’d cleaned the room and in the Reno it never occurred to anyone to check the smoke detectors. We all kinda marvelled at the f**ked up genius of it, tbh.
So if you get stuck with a bad Air BnB, I guess that’s always an option....
