This system was actually just a test of a feature google had, where it'd show a rating along with your site's search results - it didn't work, but the feature was left in place and forgotten about. The reviews are …

Something that's been bothering me for a while is the blatantly fake reviews on the home page. Obviously this is for SEO benefit but is it really necessary to fake them? Considering theres tons of active real players who'd be happy to review the site, why not generate reviews from the community?

As an example here is all "18" people that apparently posted a review, assuming their nickname is the same as their game name:

Why would you assume their nickname is the same as their game name?

Pretty shitty accusation to throw around based on such flawed data.

the reviews being fake isn't exactly a secret.

went back to 2017 using the Wayback Machine. and these fake reviews by the same people just get their years changed.

honestly, its pretty disgusting behavior and is it even legal? lol.

It bothered you so much that you have barely logged in over the past 18 months. I applaud someone willing to take such a stand.

Well how could he? We all joined this game based on those reviews, was it all fake? Is this whole game fake? It opens up bigger questions in life, like what is the meaning to life itself? Is our awaken state just a concept to consume nuitricion and find inspiration for the real hero, our sleeping mind?

But yeah, having real reviews would be nice I guess.
