Absolutely a scam, do not commission this person.

He didn't return the money until he was under fire. All polite conversations and attempts to reach out were met with inactivity, no-responses and stalling.

If you didn't want to do Rose's commission due to your schedule or it being against what you would do - 1. Make slots - this ensures you have 1 - 2 commissions going at a time, this will let everyone know if you're full and not only that, it will ensure you are not overwhelmed with work you've accepted from tens of people (Unlikely, given the negative press now, but for future instances I would suggest you do this.)

2. Write a list on your forum of what you will and won't draw, this will save the commissioner time into knowing whether you will be able to do it or not. Either way, if you want to be a graphic designer, communication is key and I wouldn't suggest this person regardless if they returned the money, given how poor and absent the communication was for weeks.

I have explained to you multiple of times. The 'issue' might be resolved (Only having to be escalated due to your lack of response to the client for weeks on end), but your handling of the situation was not professional. Rose made multiple attempts to communicate with you, in which you responded vaguely. Each time you responded vaguely, was a time you could've spent explaining the situation.

Your reasons for not completing the commission were not consistent and matched the excuses of a scammer that couldn't get their story straight. One day it was 'I was away on holidays" then suddenly you turned around and told her "I am quitting" despite you being evidently active. All this "I was away for two weeks" is absolute nonsense. During those two weeks you communicated poorly and dragged a situation on longer that it should've. If you were truly concerned about your inactivity you would've refunded the money, not kept it and each time she asked for a progress update, answer with a poor excuse or a threat to quit.

All of a sudden then you decided that the commission wasn't for you and that you didn't want to draw a silhouette of a woman for an Adult Novelty company. We have screenshots of the entire conversation, so if anyone who wants to commission you (I would highly NOT recommend by the way) they can ask for them to know exactly what they're going to be involved with (TL'DR: Long waiting lines, obscure responses and stalling).

Not only that, but the quality of your graphics is just google images stamped on with Dafont - overall, not something people should waste their money on NOR chasing up for weeks on end. You didn't tell Rose what you intended to do, you held the money and then declined it after weeks of asking you.

If you would've communicated or refunded from the start, this would've all been avoided. The only time you were 'eager' to resolve the issue was when people had enough of your poor handling of the situation and bountied you for your incompetence.

In addition to this, your attitude is incredibly poor. When explaining to you about this, you decided to insult me. As a professional freelance artist who does graphic designs for a living outside of torn, this is NOT how you act to people - especially when freelancing is mostly based on reputation. Due to your insults, this will have consequences based on how people view you as a business (and it is a business because you are selling your work here). A manager doesn't get their pay by yelling at their customers and you have ruined a good amount of future business by your piss poor personality.

It is my issue considering you have made many of my friends annoyed with your piss poor work ethic. Learn customer service before you bother trying to sell anything. Not only that, but you set a poor reputation towards the torn graphic community in general.
