Karma isn't necessarily how many up votes you have, it's based on other things too

It also depends on if the upvotes came from graved threads. No increase in total when someone R+s a post in the grave. Several other forums are the same way.

Its just a way to prevent people from spamming someone up and having them gain like 100s of karma in a day.

Things like likes on very short posts and likes on faction and company posts don’t count, did you know that?
