I just finished the biology course and unlocked the pharmacy, i was under the impression that if i went through the bio course i would be a doctor and gain the revive ability. Guess not....so how do i get the revive ability ?

Get a Medical job in the newspaper, and from then you will unlock the revive ability after being promoted to 'brain surgeon'

requires 10k intelligence to be brain surgeon => revive ability
There's a guide to fast tracking the higher level, and desirable, NPC jobs. These are in law, eduacation and medical.
