1. You break in through a gap in the bay door in one of the warehouses.
2. You begin spreading gasoline over everything in sight and work your way out into the main hallway.
3. You strike a match and drop it as you make your way out of the building and return to your car.
4. You watch from a safe distance as firemen attempt to save the warehouse but it's apparent it's too far gone.
You wake up the next day and find $10,413 has been slid through the mail slot in the door. Your cut of the insurance money.
As many of you know this is the result of the warehouse arson crime. But how much is it worth? What is even the point of crimes? Many may say Crime exp and merits but all you are doing is repeatedly clicking the same button 5000 times for 10k. 10k is barely enough to buy a single medkit. even more profitable crimes give little in the form of cash.
Then do 18 nerve crimes, but yea this game requires a lot of clicking and repetitive stuff. Soooooo if you aren't into that then I suggest something else.
Crimes take a long time to become worthwhile, but eventually, you get PA's, which are a huge reward, imho, for the wait. I have been at this for a few years and I am at 55 nerve, and I believe getting close to 60. It has been worth the wait. While waiting, I have collected tons of merits from crimes as well..... I think the massive merit pile to be gotten along the way, and the PA light at the end of the tunnel is enough to make crimes quite worthwhile.

But the 10k isn't the point in the crime exp and merits argument.... The crime exp argument is for you to work your way up to PAs and make 2.5m - 7.5m a day for doing nothing and the merit argument is that merits are useful. (Early game merits are easy to get but later it gets harder, putting a price on it based off of point market price a merit is worth at least 10m but I know plenty of players who think it's worth more due to running out of easy to get merits and not being able to buy any merits with points)

crimes were chedded years ago. warehouse arsons paid 15-20k when i first started. 'somehow' the payout was lowered and there was never an announcement. go figure.
so with max carry you can make 1.5 - 2 million dollars in profit flying to most countries. So why are you being lazy and not going after that easy money and merits. And how much are you making a day doing crimes ?
