What do you do when you reach class A with less than 10 racing skill and a fully upgraded Sierra cosworth?

To be honest since I started I valued racing skill above class but somehow I got to class A before skill level 10, and I'm a fair bit off. I fully upgraded a cosworth but don't have enough points to make an impact with the lexus, the cosworth is still the better car.

Is it a better option to keep raising my skill level in 100 lap races or try to keep gaining points in city races?

Mix both, in my opinion. Official races when you're around and able to quickly restart. 100 laps overnight/times when you're not going to active for hours. This will also help you gradually gauge how you're improving since in theory over time you'd notice an uptick in official race wins, as your driver skill increases (though that's not the only factor of course)

Thanks you're a legend. I'll keep going, it's just I was trying and got so disillusioned with it I thought I'd ask. It's kind of a long slog.

You don't need to have 10 racing skill when you reach class A. I think most players are lower like 5 or 6 when they hit A.

I would do official races when they're dirt tracks with the cosworth. If tarmac, leave the race and join a custom for skill.

Object here would be to get that Lexus upgraded for long tarmac tracks while using the cosworth on dirt for points.... and building racing skill to 10.
