I managed to somehow attack a player that should have the newbie shield, and it temporarily applied then removed itself, I am on chromebook for reference.I had managed to attack him but yet the shield affect applies and removes itself at random times, I searched the bug forum to see if this has happened before and it doesn't seem to of. This is about all I can share information wise since well it's explained better in the screenshots. (Screenshots taken On IOS since chrome is a pain for screenshots)

Their faction is currently involved in a Territory War. They will have been sitting on the wall at the time, which is why you could attack them.
