Okay gamers. Time for a talk. Im interested what my fellow gamers think

I'm sure most of you seen the diskless Consoles by now. what are your thoughts on that?

Do you guys think disks will get replaced by digital downloads?

Do you see any problems with digital? Are disks superior?

Sure took consoles long enough.

I can understand if Nintendo for example, that targets a younger audience wants to keep their consoles working internet free.

But for the rest of it, its about time to catch up with the evolution. No boxes, no scratches no mess. Download when you want to play, get rid of it when you don't anymore, but always able to get it again anytime you please...

Just about 17 years late when you think of Steam. But then again PC is the master race for a reason. xD

I think that everything will go digital eventually. There will still be a calling from the hardcore collectors for a physical copy though. Some sites like iam8bit will still cater to collectors I feel. They still make functional SNES cartridges that are made in limited quantities on that site. They had a bad ass Earthworm Jim cartridge that was cow printed a few months back.
I NEVER understood why though they haven't started putting games on USB 3.0 drives. A lot of games you buy on a disk still has content you need to install from the disk. Windows eventually started putting there OS on 3.0 drives. So why not do the same for games?
