Buying them in the points market is the best way. You can also win them buy spinning the wheels in the casino and after opening up the museum you can trade in flower and plushie sets as well as other items for points.
Buy them. Real money keeps the game going and its only pocket change.
The only other thing is if you have a faction that will trade your museum items for points and gives you the points. So you don’t have to take the bachelor for it. I have gained quite a few points that way.
