  • Welcome to Torn!
Here are some great ways to make money as a newer player:
Buying certain underpriced items from in-game shops or the item market, and selling them either on th market or in private trades. Beware, it’s common practice in Torn for players to prey on newbies who post items for sale on the open market (especially higher-value items) by buying your items and immediately attacking/mugging you while they know you have that cash on-hand available for them to steal (therefore discounting their purchase and gaining themselves experience and stats).
I would gladly buy almost anything you want to sell in a private, safe trade. Some of my current prices are below, but are adjusted based on market values when needed, and I’m always happy to discuss questions/concerns.
Also as you progress through the game:
    • Commit Theft crimes and sell the loot
    • Travel to other countries, buy Plushies and/or exotic Flowers and sell at massive profit (unlocked at level 15)
    • Buy Empty Blood Bags, fill them with your own blood and sell (requires Intravenous Therapy education course, profit depends on your blood type)
    • I do not recommend selling losses (a.k.a. slutting = attacking & losing purposely to another player for $250k profit) as it negatively impacts your stats throughout the game
  • I hope this aids you in your Torn adventure. Reach out with any questions or trades, and happy playing.

This is a nice post but i think it should be in Trading Post.
Since you're putting yourself on the market here, it's not really a tutorial.

"I do not recommend selling losses (a.k.a. slutting = attacking & losing purposely to another player for $250k profit) as it negatively impacts your stats throughout the game" - wtf? Are you serious?

If you're talking about battle stats, then no, it doesn't. Think about how much money the average low level player mugs from another player; they're lucky to get 50k with one mug. Losses go for 250k, which makes them a whole lot more profitable then mugs, and if they're balancing losses and training, it shouldn't harm their stat growth at all.

Yeah. I think selling losses is extremely helpful. I actually wear the Loser title with pride at the moment XD
I am meeting all my goals. Training can come later—but you play the game your way. :)
