As a new'ish player, I have now reached a mission to attack Duke and he is way too strong for me.
Can anybody help out with a group attack please?

Group attacks normally happen when Duke is at level 4 loot. Check
this for when that'll be and join about 2 minutes before the start

That isn’t necessary any more. Franky shared the YATA link which will indicate when Duke is at loot level 4 - the level that EVERYONE joins to attack and defeat Duke for a chance at good loot.
As Franky said, join about 2 mins before he hits level 4. Wait till everyone fires off some temps so you have a better chance of staying alive, drop a smoke/flash grenade and then hit as much as you can! You don’t need to be in the very final moments of the attack to complete your mission.
**BodyBagger can defeat Duke and helps others do so, but for a price. You can always ask him as he will usually attack between loot levels 2-3. Your easiest option is to try at loot level 4 though.
