Recite 100 times "the flu kills more people" whilst eating a toilet roll and you will be fine..
This says it all especially check out the event 201 portion from this CDC link http://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/newsroom/center-news/2020-01-17-Event201-recommendations.html
Every mandate that comes out seems like it is just doing the opposite of what its intended effect is supposed to do.
- Curfew at 8-9PM. Great! Ensure everyone is going out to the store during limited hours, to ensure we have a greater concentration of people going out at the same time, instead of spreading it out. People who would go out at 2 in the morning would be much less likely to encounter anyone, and are now forced to go shopping during times of higher traffic, thereby the likelihood to spread more disease.
- Don't leave your home. Prevent everyone from getting fresh air, sunlight and exercise, so they do not have a chance for their body to maintain their immune system, so we can prolong this ridiculous quarantine for a much longer period of time. Some people are having mental breakdowns and committing suicide. If you truly feel unsafe going out, you are within your right to stay home, but don't force your decisions on everyone else.
- Wear a mask. For a mask to be effective, you have to throw them out and put a fresh one on, at least a few times a day. If someone did have an infection, the moisture in the mask would be more likely to harbor infectious diseases. People are already out of work if they are non-essential (usually getting unemployment) or self-employed (sorry about your luck pal), in which case they will not be able to afford the masks, and if they did, they would probably wear the same mask for months at a time, or until it falls apart. Stores are turning away people for not having masks. If stores really wanted us to wear masks, they would supply fresh ones every time we go into a store, instead of putting on this ridiculous pretense like they are doing something special. Furthermore, maintaining a healthy immune system requires fresh oxygen, and you are forcing people to inhale their own recycled carbon dioxide for hours at a time, which is not healthy. Employees who wear them for 8+ hours a day are sacrificing their own health.
Here's my two cents
Things to do at home.
Work out: Pull-ups, pushups, jumping jacks, crunches, planks, stretching. A lot of apps on the android store that have built in work-outs are solid if you don't have the firsthand knowledge to make a workout for yourself. Working out will not only help you stay in shape when you're not doing much, working out also spikes your dopamine levels so you're in a better mood overall.
Don't f**k up your sleep schedule: Most of my friends have fallen victim to staying up all night and sleeping during the day time. This has an adverse effect on your mood and capacity to do things as it messes up your circadian rhythm.
Try Lucid Dreaming: Lucid dreaming is something that anyone with the will to do it can do. You experience your dreams in a conscious state of mind. Everybody dreams every night even if we don't remember the dreams when we wake up. This makes sleeping much less boring.
Read: If you don't consider yourself an avid reader, this could be the best time for you to give it a try. It gets easy and if you pick a good read you can reap a lot from it. Hit me up for book recommendations.
Listen to Music: You can play full albums in the background while you read or workout, it's a good time to explore different artists and find your taste and preference.
If you have anything to add, I'd like to hear, stay safe!
