i realize this is a long play game, but damn, how can you gather work stats to get a better paying job without taking 2 years. every job i see that is really good wants like 50k stats....ive got a descent job, with training every other day, but it will take for ever before i can get those stats. not bitching, more or less asking for tips and advice, thanks, and rock on!!

I know that problem. There really is only one good solution: buy trains. Ideally you'd want to buy 10 trains per day, which will result in 500 points in the main stat and 250 points in the secondary stat. Plus the normal gain from the job.
But even this high speed stat gain will take you 100 days to reach 50k stats in the main stat. But I believe it's a good investition. Ideally not only go for 50k, but 100k and possibly 150k (INT) to be able to take whatever job you want... and get paid good in the high paying jobs.
The biggest disadvantage of this is: the price.
One train can cost between 150k and 500k. Which means 1,5m - 5m per day. So ideally you'd look for trains on the cheaper side (like 200-300k each) in a company that has a money-making special (like a Sweet Shop, Adult Novelties, 10* Grocery Store).
If you are very lucky and find a cheap train-seller in a good company, you can basically "get them for free", by paying with the items from the special.
