I'm stuck as a rookie for days ive been trying to achieve Novice or higher,but i just cant seem to get it. Can anyone advice? I know about the triggers,but im not sure if i've screwed up or smth

Great question. You can find all of the rank triggers at this link on the Torn Wiki: https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Ranks
But in short there are four categories that can trigger your rank: level, crimes, networth, and battle stats.
Edit: in your case, you are your level is contributing +2 ranks, Your crimes are contributing to +1rank, and your stats are contributing +1 rank.
My suggestion: get your netowrth up, do a bunch of easy crimes, continue to level up, and use your energy to train your stats
