Over haul, and/or completely scrap, our current Crimes program and replace it with something completely new.
Introduce newly renovated, possible interactive, crimes with new scenarios, graphics, people, and rewards.

You can call it Crimes 2.0.

(You may thank me later.)

Pfft, get your head out of the clouds, this isn't NASA.

Next you'll suggest something completely impossible to implement, like a working chat system.

I dont want to make a thread, but I think we should increase the money reward that some crimes give. Ched said Torn inflation is 20% per year, so that means crimes should pay out 20% extra for every year. So basically in 12 years that would be 10x as much as it's currently paying out. That would help a lot right? More people will do the risky crimes for the monetary gain at least.

Crimes 1.1 hotfix or whatever.

This makes sense. The rewards for crimes are a joke, until you get to hacking at the top, which is pretty decent, but not spectacular. Definitely not in line with the current value of a Torn dollar.
But upping the payouts of crimes will just create more inflation with more cash being created. Especially since it only takes a few months of active crimeing to be able to be able to do the highest paying crime.
So maybe we need to adjust crime experience and success rates. Stretch it out from a low start to a really big high end, and a longer road between. But we need it to be more engaging if it's going to take that long and... dammit! I just started planning crimes 2.0.

even if crime payouts are higher 12 years from now, the prices of other goods are going to be increased as well. Ultimately, people buy the same amount of things
