City Search

I just discovered city search a couple days ago. I don't know what the criteria for items to spawn is. Does it build up over time? I found several items the first time. Is this part of doctorn or will i be able see these items anyway? also doctorn mentions four items that are on the map but i no longer see any icons for them. Any tips on this is appreciated.

DoctorN makes it easier to find the items, but has no effect on when or how much items show up.

Everyday at 00:00 TCTime, there is a chance that new items spawn. If they do, those items will stay on city map for as long as it takes you to collect them.

For even easier spotting of the items, zoom in on the city map and scroll around.

Each day you have a small chance to find an item in the city. You can either pick them up or let them sit on the map, it's up to you. Doctorn makes them much more visible and easy to pick up from the map, without it, you have to zoom right in to see them.

The items are available to pick up with having any extension(s) installed. Doctorn just makies it easier to find them. If you pick up the items, Doctorn will still tell you which items there were until you refresh the map or move to another page and when you revisit the map then that list will be refreshed.

Yes, item finds build up over time. The quantity of items you find is based on your awareness level with education, job perks, book perks and merit upgrades

Actually items are not that hard to find. It takes me 5 seconds to scroll around the map to spot the item. They are easily distinguishable.

Mostly its random, but always good to check at least once per day.

Every day there's a random chance that something will spawn. Organically they are very small and hard to see(imo). Doctorn, TornStats, and a few other apps highlight and enlarge the items for you. The Press Pass also has a chance to identify if there are any items there.
