I think this is related to an issue we're seeing after the maintenance. It should be quite rare hopefully.
There's some hanging queries that get stuck for an unknown reason, we're now automatically killing them after 40 - 100 seconds, resulting in this error on the inventory page.

It appears like it's mainly due to people having thousands of a particular item.

I have a similar issue, was told to add it here.
I can access my items page fine and don't get a database error, but Torn site will hang for 60 seconds then give an error 504 timeout, then refresh the items page when I consume a beer. I have over 7000 beer in my inventory. I can consume tequila without getting the issue, I only have 24 tequila.

EDIT: The issue seems to have passed, I can drink beer normally again. Cheers!

I don't have many items.
I believe the core issue is resolved, please report, if there are still errors.
I am having an issue (cloud jumper recommended I report) where I cant drink my beer. Ive got over 50k in inventory. if i try to drink it loads forever and i eventually get a 504 error. So im still having the issue
tried exchanging sets in museum, failed due a confirmed bug reported here
it was still trying to load my sets, when I went to take out funds from the vault. I assume the session locked me out because it was still processing the sets exchange for me... a while later, when the sets exchange failed (the loading bar disappeared) I got the same database error reported above on my company vault screen.
