We already have merits for spending certain lengths of time as a Donator, Married, and in a Faction. So why do we not have ones for spending time in a single company?

Bump! I think that would be really cool to see!

Why not? It would encourage employee loyalty.
Sounds good.

seriously, great idea...employee loyalty is awful...make the merits like marriage...something for 100 days, 250 days...that would be awesome
Should be moved to new merit thread.

Yes someone actually did write about this in the new merit thread. Right here for reference.
I think it’s a good idea, R+.

Just so you see this, here is a reply from Ched on this from a similar previous suggestion.
Mentions: Merit for staying in company/at the job
After having read that, the thought occurred to me that company perks bolster certain playstyles, so yeah, quite a large negative to soft-lock people into them. If you hit a different stage of the game, or RL priorities change, being locked in a music shop in the late game or not being able to go to a cruise line to make passive play more beneficial is quite a downside.
That's in addition to giving directors free leverage to lower wages. The longer you've been there, the less they can pay you before you decide enough is enough.

Sound good. +R
But at the same time, it is something similar with factions. Your faction leaders could end up deciding "You don't get any benefits from here anymore, sorry. But you can stay for the merits." It encourages employee loyalty just like it encourages loyalty to your faction, or marriage loyalty. That's why you have to join a company with a reputable owner, just like your faction has to have a reputable leader in order to encourage you to stay. And if it has been suggested before, that's because it is a good idea. You're softlocked into a faction or a marriage, just as much as you would be into one company. If you leave your company on good terms you can always return later
Only thing I will say, Ched really doesn’t like the commitment merits. Which is why he’ll never make more faction or marriage ones, from what I’ve read.
Outlined in the link above, he said most of the feedback was, people wanting to stay for a medal for the company. He didn’t like the idea of that at all, but you can read his thoughts above^^ Peopke join companies and move around so much, that I guess it would be a hinderance to make them stick around (potentially) for a merit :/
