May need to rethink the description of a book.

Book : Stealthy Stealing of Underwear

Effect: Guaranteed stealth for the next 31 days.

This is not entirely true.

Unstealthed attack

Seems a multi-person attack loses your stealth, so it is therfore, not guaranteed.

Stealth is only limited to solo attacks. Group attacks can't be stealthed. Thanks!

Perhaps that needs adding to the description then, as guarenteed stealth on attacks currently exhibits no exclusions....?

I don't think it is necessary to complicate the book description. The system doesn't allow you to Stealth group attack. Stealthing is only possible in solo attacks, the book says guaranteed stealth so it should be obvious that the book effect only applies to solo attacks.

Better yet, implement stealth in group attacks for this one condition: people wouldn't be able to stealth in group attacks unless they had this book's effects. Makes the book "guaranteed" wording have more impact.

How would this be reworded? I mean... I personally think it's fine. You have guaranteed stealth wherever stealth is possible.

yeah, this or "guaranteed stealth on solo attacks" - both are more clear as to where the book does and does not work, with only a tiny change.

Stealthing is only possible in solo attacks, the book says guaranteed stealth so it should be obvious that the book effect only applies to solo attacks.


gonna respectfully disagree on this being "obvious" - in a case where the base game rules are "X never happens" and an item gives you the (ambiguously-worded) effect of "X always happens", it needs to be 100% clear which one takes precedence :)

Also lose stealth when you lose an attack, so......

I just think guaranteed stealth should be just that, guaranteed.

I dont think it should change. That is ooening a door for people to comolain about the Music Store perk that is worded the exact same way.

Wording is fine, stealth isn’t an option during group attacks.

This is taking away from valuable Crimes2.0 work time, just been delayed another month

That is less clear... what is "maximum stealth?"

Stealth is not possible in group attacks, so why wouldn't "guaranteed stealth in solo attacks" be clearer? I feel like i'm missing part of the mechanic.

But it’s still not guaranteed in solo attacks. If you attack someone and lose it still won’t be stealthed.

I think “maximum” works as it indicates that you get as much as possible - if you can stealth, you will, if you can’t, you won’t.
