Each time you open your account setting and hit the General settings tab the Preffered validation always sets itself to Torn Image Captcha, even though I've previously set it to Torn Text Captcha. image of offending setting and where to find it
This happens to me on Chrome and Firefox. Make the setting sticky, that it won't reset to image captcha when I want to use text.
