hello, yesterday something appeared on my screen it said : Activate Windows go to settings to activate windows. And it's really annoying. what should i do to permanently remove it from my screen please help.
You could always get a hacked version that pretends it's activated. Not sure if there's one for Windows 10 since I don't like it but Windows 7 is available. For this you would need to know how to download torrents.
If you don't know and are to lazy to learn about torrents, just buy a key.
That is pretty much what he had to begin with, 50% something like KMS is added later to "activate" it. The other 50% comes with it pre-applied already so you dont have to activate it. KMS normally has to reset every few months, some are in fact setup to do this automatically as well.
A few years ago grabbing a torrent would be easy and reasonably safe, especially for w7. But these days with w10 being an free official download in .iso form from microsofts own servers, and legit keys selling so dirt cheap, any hacked version is most likely actually hacked and contains backdoors and shit as well. Better to spend a few bucks and go legit rather then take a big risk there.
If you're not going to use one of the gray market keys then you should use HWIDGEN, preferably the version that got decompiled given its not open source. KMS sucks.
Torrenting an OS at the moment is one of the stupidest things you could possibly do. There are absolutely non that you can guarantee are safe, whereas you will be perfectly safe just using the Microsoft download. If you don't want the watermark and you don't want to buy a key, there is only one decent alternative, which is the HWIDGEN tool I mentioned. The only reason this is safe to use is because someone decompiled the code back to the source code and posted it to Github, and it is only guaranteed to be safe if you use the version that was decompiled (who knows whats been added in later revisions).
Torrenting an OS when there is the alternative of HWIDGEN would just be a terrible idea.
Can you tell me you have decompiled or reverse engineered every single file to make sure there is no funny business going on? There could easily be some unknown exploit or piece of malicious code embedded somewhere that nobody has any idea about yet.
You simply cant guarantee something like that these days. Anybody who says they can, is a fool.
I don't think any of the script kiddies and scene groups have enough time on their hands to decompile the whole windows, just to embed something in it and hope to "get" some random people who are too poor to purchase windows to begin with.
But sure, downloading windows from microsoft then activate later is just better.
Also, I heard the "activate windows" watermark only shows up in your primary monitor, not your secondary if you have it. So just use 2 monitors, then make your secondary the main one without making it the primary, if that makes sense.
