To celebrate reaching 10,000 subscribers, we've just sent out a random brand-new Cosmetic Cache to each of you who currently has an active subscription.
Reaching the 10,000 subscriber mark is one of several records we've hit recently, in this very surreal year of 2020. As we approach our 16th anniversary, we want to thank all of you for being part of this weird place we call home. Torn isn't a game, it's a community, and a truly awesome one.
There are seven cosmetic caches at present: Gentlemen Cache, Elegant Cache, Elderly Cache, Denim Cache, Wannabe Cache, Naughty Cache, and Cutesy Cache. Opening a cache will provide you with one of almost a hundred new pieces of clothing that have never been seen before.
We hope these caches will spawn an interesting new market, while also adding more creative diversity to player models. We're planning to add cosmetic caches into the monthly subscriber rewards pool, replacing the existing enhancer items, so there's a chance to receive one each month. However, we'll probably find other ways to distribute them in the future too.
